Passenger window
I have an 85 4+3. With the car running, when I either open or close the passenger window, it goes up or down very slowly. It is quite noticeable when compared to the driver's window. Do you think it's the window regulator or the window up/down switch?

84-85 and early 86 had a ribbon style regulator and they were slow when new. Get yourself some newer regulators and make the change. Go to "other" at the top of the page, then go to tech tips. There is a very nicely detailed article in there on how to do the switch. I'm doing both of mine.

Both of my windows are really slow. Mostly going up, but no speed record going down either. They actually run out of steam near the top, and almost stop. Then, as they get to the top, it speeds up again.
Last year, I cleaned everything, but no improvement.
Could it be a bad ground?

Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the newer style regulators. They bolt directly into place; even the motor connector is compatible. The driver's side regulator on my '86 had a broken ribbon, so I decided to try the upgrade...now I can't wait to do the other.
