285's -vs- 275's
I'm changing to 17" ZR1 wheels on my 86. The 285/40VR17's exactly match the OD of the 255/50ZR16 stock tires. The 275/40VR17's OD is 1/2" less than the stock 16" tires. Wouldn't I want to go with the 285's?

I would personally just because it will keep your speedo accurate. I know my 96 came with 285's out back and 255's up front... so it isn't bad to go to the 285's.

i do think the 285's look good on all 4's. i think that is what i am going to do next.
