PKE Ultimate Problem
Ok guys, here's what's happening. I've got the 8 steps to reprogramming my PKE.
I'm ok unitl step 5: Turn the Ignition to the OFF position, but leave the key in the ignition. The PKE light will come on and begin flashing.
The PKE light never starts to flash and after 30-60 seconds the doors automatically lock as if I would have locked it with the PKE.
I've tried 2 different key FOB's and 3 different indash reciever modules, all with the same results. Is there any hope for me to get this fixed or do I need to get some kind of aftermarket system for keyless entry?

When you leave your lights on and/or keys in, do you here the warning chimes?
I have the same problem and I have been told that, there is something wrong with a ground or wiring that controls the warning chimes and that it ties into the PKE system. I am going to do some testing this weekend and will let you know if I find anything.
