Anyone ever try this?
I saw this on ebay... it's basically a shortened 5/8" spark plug socket that is actuated by a 3/4" gearwrench. I have the gearwrench... wonder if you can get the socket commercially?
Anyhoo.. see for yourself:

Not sure that I'd pay $25 for the whole thing (a 3/4" gearwrench doesn't cost more that$12-13 a Lowe's).

OH MY...I could have used that jewel on my last plug job
I gave a pint of blood and wore out a pair of mechanix gloves
Only problem is...with headers it's a snap without the wrench right?

I have just the cut down socket. It works great with a box wrench to get at that #8 plug. I think I paid like $7 on ebait.

Depends on the headers. I would have been far less stressed out on #8 and #2 with this setup. I think I'll be buying one.

I bought a shortened socket on eBay as well. I think I paid about $9 delivered.
