If you are looking for a 350 cubic inch motor, the zz-4 crate motor from gm is tough to beat.

A direct bolt in engine with intake exhaust, etc does not exist. At least as far as I know. GM builds them to fit many applications.

My idea is to get out your tools.

Take your TPI intake, serpentine belt system, distributor, etc and put it on your new engine then bolt it into the car.

The ZZ4 has L98 heads on it (I believe) so your TPI intake will fit.
The Fastburn 385 had Vortech heads so your TPI WON'T fit unless you get the base manifold from S/D to make it work.

The ZZ4 CAN be bought without the intake, distributor, etc so you won't have to remove half the parts to put your parts onto it.
They will remove anything you don't need and deduct those parts from the price.

Questions questions questions.....
What are your objectives or horsepower goals/expectations?
Do you have emissions testing requirements to observe?
Will you be drag racing or road racing or auto crossing or just a daily driver?
Would you like a high performance all forged on nitrous or supercharger longblock or an economical daily driver engine with cast parts?

no to most of the above...it is simply a daily driver that has 150K on her and it is time to drop a fresh engine in...exploring my options...want something new that is compatible without major modifications...it turns out that they dont make L-98 's anymore...looking for alternative engine options...thanks

So it sounds like you are not looking for a "stroker" motor or something fancy.
To keep the price down, you would want cast pistons, cast rods, cast crank, 2 bolt mains, 1 piece rear main seal, aluminum heads with 1.94 intakes, 1.5 exhausts, real basic, stock motor.
You know as well as I know to rebuild yours would probably take a month or more and thus the vette would be out of comission that long, so I don't blame you for wanting something ready to drop in. If you had something like that, it would take a day or two to get her up and running again.
L98 referrs to the TPI intake system and not really the longblock underneath it so much. You could drop in a compatable 350 longblock and be up and running pretty quick.
What kind of transmission do you have?
If the 6 speed, you would need to make sure the new engine(reciprocating assembly) is externally balanced to match the previous balances. A competent machine shop with balancing equipment can do this.
