AC Fan quits
The fan on my 87 runs on high speed for about two minutes then shuts off, it will occasionally come back on but uslually stays off until I let it siy overnight. It will however run at the next lower speed after it quits at high speed. Hardly enough to cool a black interior in Florida.
Motor overheating??
BTW, it will run on lower speeds non stop, never quits.

I'm assuming you have the C60 Manual A/C heating control?
If so it sounds like the blower motor relay is bad. It's mounted on the firewall near the blower motor. The relay is only used for the highest speed.

Its not climate control if thats what you mean, I thought it might be the relay. But the relay probably wouldnt close the high speed at all if it was hosed, or, I guess the coil in the relay could heat and drop contact after a few minutes....
Am I close?
