Yeah, it is factory 2-bolt main. The 4-bolt main blocks in those years with 2pc rear main seal and passenger side dipsticks came in 1ton trucks only as far as I know.
It's been said that the non-splayed 4-bolt mains are weaker than the 2-bolt.
That only applies to the 400 CID, 4.125" bore blocks. Chevy never had any splayed 4 bolt production blocks in any size. Except for the 400, 4 bolt blocks are preferable. All L83 and L98, C4 blocks are 2 bolt mains.
I am only aware of the 4.00" bore, 302, 327, and 350 CID and the 4.125" bore, 400 CID as the only Gen I engines available with 4 bolt mains. All had parallel bolts. The 4 bolt 400 is the weak sister. Otherwise 4 bolt mains are desirable.
