New battery... Now high idle.
Hello all,
1984 w/ auto. My battery died several weeks ago. So I just got around to replacing it today. Started up right away as usual. I let it warm up for 30 minutes, but idle stayed at about 1,000 rpms. I believe that once I drive it and get it above 30 mphs, IAC will reset and all will be fine. I was not able to drive it due to Northeast roads (salt / sand / potholes). Am I correct? Just looking for reassurance... And, I can't wait to get her out on the road!!!
