Power Effects "adjustable " mufflers

Appreciate any experience with "adjustable" mufflers from Power Effects.
Good / bad / cost / reliability?

Well the last time I talked to Joe they still werent back in production yet, so you wont find any new ones.

However, I have them and love them.

I have them too...by far the best sounding exhaust out there...the only way to make them sound better is to 3" them all the way to the capsules

A buddy of mine put them on his 86 with a 434; says even at the quietest setting they're really loud. But that's a subjective thing.

Wonderful exhaust! Best sound (IMHO), good performance, and nice look with black tips, especially on a GS. Not currently in production, unfortunately. I usually recommend Corsas to most folks, but the PE system is top-notch.

I just removed the entire cat-back PE system from my GS (10,000 miles or so on the exhaust). I'm looking to sell it to anyone interested. Still in pretty good shape.

Have a custom black 3 inch exhaust all the way back to the PE capsules. Its loud and nasty but sounds good.

Thanks for all the great feedback. I feel a lot more comfortable about the "PE's". The rest of the car looks pretty good too. Now - if we can just agree on the price....
