fuel guage sensor install on fuel rail
as the title suggests, any info. i believe the pressure sensor is 1/8 " npt. i was thinking of placing it within the rail, about where the EGR valve used to be. Any suggestions on threads, locations, parts would be appreciated.

I've found an aftermarket fuel pressure gauge that screws onto the schraeder valve on the fuel rail. Let's you check the FP by just looking at it with the hood open. Check some of the aftermarket catalogs like Ecklers or Mid-America. Maybe even the Corvette Store on this Forum has them, I didn't check.

Hi. Yes. i have one of them. Im looking to leave the Schrader valve alone and permanently install a fuel pressure guage which has a 1/8 male NPT fitting. I believe the fuel rail will need to be drilled and a 1/8 " NPT female fitting installed. One thing is how thick the fuel rail is at any particular point. Or can the female end on the rail just be tapped. thanks, Mark
