interior lights $##%$^@$
i have a 85 coupe and all of a sudden my curtsy lights will not turn off i shut the doors and they remain lit.Any ideas of were to start looking for the problem? Anyone ever have the same problem?Any help is appreciated.Had to pull the fuse to keep my battery from going dead

Try the simple things first:
1. Check the headlight switch - turning it all the way to one side turns on the interior lights
2. Make sure all the door/hatch switches are working right
3. If those fail, you may have a dead timer module. Do the switches work to pop the hatch? The timer module is inside the dash on the passenger side, taped up by the ECM. It's a small black box about 2" on a side.
And don't take offense at #1 - not everyone knows this...
