I am looking for suggestions on bushings. What is the best kit for a driven daily C4?
My current bushings don't look bad, but I just turned 70K last week so it's about time for preventive measures.
I know that I asked this same question earlier, however, I did not get input on specific manufactures/ pros and cons of the different kits.
I went with the Energy Suspension kit. It contains every busing on the car except for sway bar busings (there were many different sizes available) and shock mount bushings. I ordered the sway bar bushings from energy suspension for my size. I did not do the shock mount bushings because honestly I didn't know they were not part of the kit and I didn't feel like messing with it.
It took me the better part of a week to do the install and I had to buy a hydraulic press to do it. I can't say that the ride quality really suffered any at all. The car is stiff, which I like.
Thanks guys,
I will look for the best price on the Energy Suspension Polys.
Nathan, I have small hydraulic press and a push pull portapower with a C type attachmente that my grandfather used to change A-arm bushings at his shop. As always I appreciate your assistance.
