I thank it's a great idea and should be sponsored by some of the market leaders.
I'm just getting started, interested mostly in doing for myself. I've bought the Moates stuff and am trying to figure out where to start. I'm almost clueless. I figured I could spend $400.00 plus on equipment or, more than that, to get a half way decent one time purchase of a chip by someone else. I elected to buy the equipment. Now I got to learn how to use it.

Look forward to DIY 101. Need to find an easy subject to get this off the ground. Any suggestions? Me thinks that working the constant tables might be a good starting....
Sounds good but for everyone to compare notes we would all have to start with the same stock chip (or bin#) same type car/engine ect. So we were all looking at the same thing each step of the way.
The guys who want to start tuning should go over to the diy-prom forum at www.thirdgen.org
This is where the the best info is, and the ecm's/tpi the thirdgens use is nearly identical to the vette stuff.

Agreed. Everything I've picked up to date has been from 3rdGen. Great site and lots of data to chew on. However some would like to stay home on this forum and compair Corvette notes.
So if we post to the DIY 101 threads in this section, imagine how much data we can amass for just C4's?
Can't forget to mention the DIY site, it has alot of info as well.
