LT1 header question
I saw this in a thread not to long ago, but I searched headers and didn't find the one I was looking for.
Anyway, I am going to get headers for my 93, someone posted which headers have the EGR, etc... fittings. Can anybody post these again for me.

so are you saying that shorties don't have any of these fittings?
I'm getting a set of Hookers do they have fittings? if not what do I have to mod?

The Hooker 2061-1 shorties have the fittings. I ran them on my car for a couple of years.

For those of us without that kind of money, I was looking at Hooker or Hedman. Should of specified this in my original post.
Anybody know the part numbers for either of these.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure they are Hooker 2149's.

E/M started a group purchase a week or two ago, it might still be going on.

$700 for the headers and more $$$ to work with cats is not what I am looking for.

Hooker 2149's have AIR fittings but they won't match up perfectliy. Those headers were designed for the L98 so the connections are slightly different. If you're not afraid of some minor fabricating you'll really like the Hooker headers. IMHO they perform just as well as any of the big name brands and give you just as much if not more plug wire clearance.
The largest issue with any type of header is the coating that you have on them. Ceramic coating is certainly the way to go.

Thanks Nathan, thats what I will do!
Can't believe the cost of headers now, last pair I bought was on a 68 Charger and they were under a $100 and the big thing was changing the distributor from points to Accel's new pointless one.
to everyone for your advice.
