I need to finish dressing up the wiring... the harness is a mess. The car was a theft recovery, and the thieves really messed up the harness, the repair facility apparently, spliced in half a harness.

I want to get better wire looms, but these are doing ok for now.

I do... that's bastet44's L98. It took a crap about 2 months ago. Tossed a head gasket.

It runs fabulously! No problems in the last two test runs over the weekend, and on today's commute, she was great!

Nice job, and it sure looks nice! Sounds like the worst of the engine work is over and everyone is happy. The wire loom sounds like another marathon though!

Again, nice job Bogus and to the rest of the crew that helped!

If you're looking for plug wire looms, the "Made for You" looms work pretty good and look decent.

Does your engine has a backet that attach to the driver side engine mount and the P/S pump bracket. Its a long metal rod with hole on each end.

Not to the motor mount, but to the manifold. I need to find the spacer that keeps the mount from rubbing against the alternator wrong.

Thanks gang for all the great words!!!

Hey, it's not my fault that the history of this car includes having 'expensive engine parts stolen' according to my dad (who knows jack about cars).
