Super Ram/Tunnel Ram question
OK.
I've got the Accel super Ram on my car. Fine.
I was at the VetteFest in Chicago this weekend (Don't ask..it sucked)
and I got into a discussion with this guy who asked me if I thought of using a tunnel ram.
Now I've heard of tunnel ram on drag cars, but I have not heard of one made for a C4 small block.
I've got a 383 now.
Anyone have any info on this?
Have I missed posts on this?
Will it fit under a C4 hood?
I have a custom made tunnel ram made by Jeb that fits under the stock hood. Works great with the 377ci motor I have even with the small cam I have now. It should work well on your 383. He also makes a single plane fuel injected intake for our cars. See my sig for a pic. There are also more pics in my gallery.

I had the superram then I went to a stealthram. The base basically is a tunnel ram manifold with bungs for the injectors. We all know the super is a lower RPM torque making intake. We also know tunnel rams are high RPM screamers for top end HP. With the super, I would spin the tires when the light went green. The stealth gave me a softer straighter power band with a bigger window of opportunity to get starting line RPM's ballparked. But oh how I missed the torque of the superram!
Someone maybe should experiment with a tunnelram and one of those
4 BBL throttle bodies.
Valves float at 5500 RPM anyway tho. Solid roller maybe?
