Default Fornt end vibration at certain speeds ??

Lately I have noticed that my front end has a noticable shake when I reach approx. 60mph. The shake stops at about 70mph and higher. Last month I put on a set of new Kuhmo's, front and back. I checked to see if one of my front tires lost a balance weight, but they are OK(I noticed one weight per tire). I had the shop put the balanceing weights on the inside of the wheel, if that makes a difference? My '95 has 67.3K miles now, and it appears all front end suspension components are original(tie rods, ball joints, shocks, etc.). I did not have the front end aligned when the new Kuhmo's where installed. The front end shake is quite noticable on the steering wheel.

In summary:

60mph< Front end shakes < 70mph

Any suggestions?

2 things come to mind, one some shops are not capable of balancing a 'Z' rated tire or did not balance them correctly. The other is the rim might have gotten bent while mounting the tire, had this happen once.
An alignment should always be done when getting new tires!!!

I've got the same problem but with sumitomo tires. One of the wheels had lip damage when I bought it and am hoping it isn't bent, just balanced incorrectly. I am going to throw on the old tire/wheel and see if the problem goes away. If so, off to rebalance and if that doesn't work, unbend the wheel or buy a new one

1. Get a 4 wheel alignment... it is a must unless you want to cause premature wear on your new tires. During this process they should be able to identify if a front end issue is causing your vibration
2. Get your tires re-balanced by someone who uses a Hunter Road Force Balance you can find on enear you with this link http://www.gsp9700.com/pub/search/FindGSP9700.cfm

3. Check back here for next steps if these 2 don't work....
