anyone installed braided hose kit?
Hey guys Im considering buying a hose dress up kit in red from my local auto store. Is anyone for them of aganist them and are they hard to install? Comments and pics are greatly app. Thanks Steve

I was gonna do this. I buoght the kit took it home and started on the vac lines first. It is a total PITA to get the line threaded through the stainless covers. I took it back and got my $$ back. Maybe there is a trick but it wasn't worth it to me..

The dress up braid stuff is garbage in my opinion. There's no purpose or funcionality to it, plus it's just another heat generator. I don't think it's real stainless anyway, I had it on my last car for show and it got real gray looking after a while.
I took it off and swore it off forever. Get the real coolflex if you want the stainless look. I find that stock rubber hoses shined up and new clamps look better anyway.
