Default 383 Test Drive

Got my reprogrammed prom back from TPIS and with some good weather on Saturday I was able to take my 91 out for a drive. What a difference from my superram 355.Man dose this thing pull I was expecting to loose some torque down low but man this thing kicks your head back with the slightest touch of the throttle. On the top end I can't even explain how this thing just keeps pulling and what speeds I had this thing up to with allot left in it.TPIS claimed 480HP at the flywheel and after this test drive I believe them.88blackZ-51 is putting something together at local Toronto track in May and I can't wait to see what numbers this thing pulls keeping in mind that my 355 went 12.9@110 without the power my 383 has.Hope to see other Toronto area Vettes there.

A super ram equipped 383 has such a nice feel to it. Very smooth, and lots of torque.

Good luck with it.

Very nice to see indeed, I did PM you back. Let me know how much you want for that part.

It sounds like your car is going to be a screamer this year, I am happy for yah bro! I will let you know when I get a few guys together and we will meet up.

The miniram's loss in low-end torque is 'kind of' gained back when you go to a 383 or larger displacement.
