Did a search - very little info with actual #'s are available. I found the following numbers in a prior post. Could you help verify that they are correct.
(2) Spicer P/N 5-625X for the drive shaft
(4) Spicer P/N 5-627X for the 1/2-shafts
are they the same numbers regardless of year and/or rear end? i still have a D36 but wanted to do this for piece of mind...even though the rear will prolly go before the joints will...i just have to do alot of work underneath this year and if it's not too bad i might as well hit these too

Yes, I put an '85 D44 in my '95 and everything is the same.

There's another halfshaft number, SPL 30-2X but I don't really know what the difference is. Some have said it's an even heavier duty joint. I do know the previously mentioned numbers are the correct coated caps for aluminum yokes. I've not seen another number for the driveshaft.
All C4s take the same sized u joints. The drive shaft takes a 1310 series Spicer joint and the halfshafts take Spicer 1350 series. Each series of joints has a variety of part numbers for different applications. Some have a Zerk in the spider. Some are designed to be used in the front axle shaft of a 4X4. These may have a special "needle" type of Zerk or a Zerk in one of the caps. Some have no Zerks. The joints for the Corvette aluminum shafts have a coating on the caps to prevent or retard the electrolysis that can occur between dissimilar metals. The "series" only designates the basic size of the joint. There are MANY part numbers for 1310 series joints. 1350s, too. The part numbers listed in my initial post are the Zerkless, coated cap, joints that are the most desirable for our Corvettes. I don't know what the "SPL 30-2X" is. More than likely it is another superseding number. The "UJ" numbers from Tom's Differentials are "Tom's" numbers. Tom's has a great reputation and they are to be trusted. Odds are, those Tom's joints, are the same joints as I called out at the beginning of this thread; brand and part number.
