Hmmm, well, I don't see anyone else responding to your post BUT I'd like to inquire about your description. Stop me if I'm wrong about my assumptions but: just from looking at the numbers you provided I was wondering does the "L-99" stand for some form of engine code? (like L-98 is a designation). Something else: would the "4.3L" stand for 4.3 Liter? Something just seems off about the information, like it doesn't match up with a 350 style intake. I came about all this by looking at the "MFI", which I'm guessing stands for Multiport Fuel Injection. Like I said, I could definently be way off on this.

Should be late 95-97. The 4.3L V8 would indicate that it came off of a Caprice

that is NOT a Corvette intake.

The part numbers that ARE from a Vette are:

1992-1994 - 12518284
1994-1996 - 12552137
1996(LT4) - 12550630

I have no idea where that comes from!

eh, recycle it... get your $5.00 out of it.

The other option? polish it and sell it on ebay. SOMEONE will want the bling for their 4.3 litre LT1 equipped Caprice.

might want to study this alittle closer...

http://www.lt1intake.com/intakeports.htm

there is enough meat to be ported and matched to your heads to get just as good flow as a mini ram or a genuine LT1 intake. your only talking 1/8" of material that needs porting. everthing else is the same.
