I have the weld pro-stars 10X15 with a 5/16" spacer and had to grind the calipers. But what I also did was, install longer wheel studs.
Stock ones will work, but doesn't satisfy NHRA's rulebook. I haven't come across any tech guy that actually looked at stud length. *edit I should add that aftermarket chrome nuts were included with my 5 spokes(daily driver wheels) and they actually turned out to be open ended with chromed plastic caps on them. I guess a guy could lathe the ends off stock nuts to make them open ended.

I guess I'm really dumb when it comes to this aftermarket wheel stuff... What I'd like is for some exact wheel/tire sizes for running skinnies up front and ET streets out back.
Is it possible to run 27" tall tires out back without grinding calipers and such?
Any exact tire dimensions and wheel sizes would be greatly appreciated!
Mackey and Panuzzo and I think Insanity and maybe even ralph were all running 28" tires in the back. All were on 15 x 10's.
Maybe a 16" diameter would clear the caliper, I never tried.
For the front, I have 15 x 3.5, there is no published backspace or offset and with 12" rotors it's no problem, with the J55 brakes, a spacer is needed.
I also went with the 68mm studs. I have the end of the stud poking thriugh the end of the lugnut which satisfies the rule, but nobody has ever checked up close.
I'll be putting them up front as well.
One thing about those long studs, they are easier to snap. I must have got a piece of sand or metal shaving in the threads and I snapped a stud in half, it's jammed in the lugnut so that's ruined as well.
I have pics somewhere, but I'll have to find them before I can post.
