Default twin turbo progress

Well Folks, here is the progress I have made over the past few weeks. My digital camera is a really cheap model, so please forgive the horrid picture quality.

I still have a lot to do!! At the least, I finally got started.

Off to a grreat start! intakes may be a bit tricky, maybe try using the front crossmember as an airbox lika a callaway. That section of the frame is normal old mild steel so feel free to weld on it!

How are you getting oil to and from the turbos?

My plan is to use engine oil presuure on the inlet side. The outlets will run into a tank and be pumped up to the valve cover by a Tilton Engineering diaphram pump.

what are you going to do for a tank? Those turbo's hang pretty low, How much ground clearance would you have to put a tank below them?

The turbos are even with the bottoms of the frame rails, so hopefully we won't hit anything. The tank is made from a piece of 2.5 inch pipe, which will be laid under the oil pan. I hope to have pics of it up soon.

The turbos are big T3's; .82 A/R, stage one turbines and .60 A/R, 60 trim compressors, oil and water center sections.

Did you cut up the floor / trans tunnel to get those turbo to fit?

No, the turbos fit with no mods to the floor pan . The passenger side was very tight, but the driverside had ample room.

Man that set up looks great. I was thinking of mounting a couple of t3/4's the same way except i was going to use the stock manifolds and down pipes instead of making headers. It makes me want to build a twin turbo set up my self. Good luck with it

Sorry,

I am not certain what the max they are capable of is, I hope to get 75 HP a piece out of them.

ide imagine they support more than 75 hp each unless you plan on running very low boost levels.
