Default Oxygen Sensor Burning Out

Hello all,
I keep having my Oxygen sensors burning out. One seems to be burning out more so than the other. Sometimes, they will last for months; sometimes they will last only a matter of days. They are not burning out together though. I am lost as to what to do about this situation. Could it be a bad ground? It is driving poorly when the sensor begins to fail. Engine light will come on, but may go off and come back on. When it gets bad, it almost feels like it's flooding. Car gets jumpy and very hesitant (ie sputtering). It also smells like it's burning rich. I have no aftermarket mods. Since i got the car, i replaced the distributor, fuel pump, both sensors, and had the trans worked on. Other repairs i dont think would have anything to do with this problem (gaskets/seals, radiator, oil pan, etc). Any suggestions?

We need details... "burning out"?

As in throwing a code?

Are you getting driveability problems?

Any mods or unknowns you should mention??

When did it start?

let us know..
