I just got done replacing all of the rear busings with poly urethane and it has to be one of the best mods I have done yet! The suspension feels so much better and tighter, tracks like she is on rails! WHOOO HOOO!

thats sweet, what kit did you get, who sells it and what all comes with it ?
I won't pretend like I noticed a huge difference. The car is pretty solid but it's hard to quantify how it was compared to stock. Then again most of my bushing weren't worn out. If they were in really bad shape to start with maybe I would have noticed it more.
The bushings on my 90 were shot - 130K miles and a leaking diff seal took its toll. The difference was really noticable. The ride is tad more harsh over bumps but it actually tracks straight over the waves in the washboard roads around here. Before the poly, the rear end would jump around quite a bit and scare the hell out of me.
I bought the Energy Suspension Hyperflex kit form Summit. I still have to pull the front apart but I am waiting for something else to break up there first.

I noticed a hell of a difference (with only rear polys installed) in tracking, feel and turn in, especially during hard cornering, throttle steering, etc. Mine were not shot but the trailing arm ones had taken an off center "set" to them. Now, if you liked this result, try installing an R-D cross bar and camber brace. These will put a smile on your face that's hard to erase too!
Lets see, It took me 2 days to do the rear, all except the sway bars and diff carrier bushings. I did one side at a time and then realized I had to drop it all to get those out, figured they could wait until I replace the rear tie rods and want to get a bigger sway bar. I also took my time as I had never ripped a suspension apart before. While I had the control arms and stuff off I went ahead and cleaned them up with a scoth brite pad on my dremel. Worked real good! As far as the big difference, my rubber was pretty well shot back there, actually it was rotten, I was able to either pull them out with pliers or a good knock with a hammer. I had originally only planned to do the control arms as I had a alot of squat on WOT and she was pretty skittish. When I got in there I realized I needed to get as much as I could replaced.
I got the Prothane kit from Mid America or Ecklers I dont remember right now. It was $199 and well worth it. I ordered the energy suspension kit for my sway bar from AutoZone, but couldn't get the bushings to press in, they are too large for the hole, is there a trick here? Anyway, if your rubber is looking ragged, I say go for it! It is well worth it, and I didn't even break anything this time!
