My 93 has been running hot when ac is on or i am driving with a semi-heavy foot. thermostat was just changed about 2000 miles ago, but water pump and radiator have never been changed in 140000 miles any thoughts on what it may be?

Have you cleaned out the space between the rad and the condenser?
C4 are notorious for collecting road debris in this space greatly limiting air flow thru the rad.... If you haven't checked that out.... it's your first step.
The next step is a rad power flush

Radiator should be removed ( and itself cleaned ) to do this cleaning completely. There is really no other way to get the trash out and trust us, if it has never been done, there is trash in there
