'94 Trans Fluid Change?
I've noticed on the forum that many of the members are changing their
own 6 SPEED transmission fluid. Is this a fairly easy task? What tools, jack, how many jack stands, etc. I like the "sound" of the CASTROL OIL
used in the late BMW's. THANKS

Well... a jack and a pair of stands... a nice smooth, hard level surface.
A 17mm hex socket (1/2" drive) and a 1/2" drive breaker bar to remove the drain and fill plugs.
Remove the fill plug first - if it won't come out, you are SCREWED with an empty transmission.
The oil you need is Castrol TWS 10W-60, available from your local BMW dealer.
Also, check the C4 Tech FAQ at the top (sticky). There is a ton of info in there.

also add fluid. WHERE DO YOU ADD FLUID ON THE '94 LT1 6 SPD?
