Default 95 seatbelts?

Hey everybody. I just bought my new 1995 corvette a few days ago and the only problems are that the cruise won't seem to engage and the passenger seatbelt is stuck half unrolled on the bottom side. I don't really care about fixing the cruise right now, but I would like to know if anyone else has had a similar problem with their seatbelt.
Basically it's just hanging limp, not quite long enough to reach the lock and not quite short enough to stay out of sight. I can't make it unroll or go back into the holder and playing with the cinch button does nothing. Anybody have a suggestion aside from replacing the belt?
Thanks for your help.

To be completely honest with you, I'd just replace the unit - They are cheap, and easy to get off.. VERY easy, actually..

If you need a contact to find one, let me know

How exactly do I get the seatbelt unit off? I was taking a look, but the seat is mostly in the way, so I can't see too well.

Well, when I took mine out, I had my seats out, but I THOUGHT you could get at the lower bolt(Torx - 45 I think) with the seat in.. If not, I apologize, I'm referencing apples to oranges...

There's one bolt on the bottom, almost at floor level, that you take off, then the one up at head height on the sides...

I'll get in there with a flashlight and see what I can get. Thanks for your advice.

Pull the seats. There's only 4 bolts holding them in. The cushions just lift out. Unbolt, unplug the control wires and lift out.

It'll be a good time to clean out all the crude that gathers under there.

Cheers,

I agree. Pull the seats and unbolt the seatbelts.
