C Beam Bolts Question

My car`s shifter lifts up a little under acceleration...about 1/8 of an inch. Prolly loose C beam bolts right?
I`ve seen it this subject here being discussed quite a bit.
My question is where are these bolts, how hard is to get to them and if i had a shop do the job for me what should i expect as far as time for labor. I`m trying to avoid getting ripped off.
Thanx Guys
The front bolts are easy to get to and the torque should be 39 lbs,
the rear you will have to drop the rear of the exaust.
I think the torque if 59 lbs.
If you have an L98 to drop the rear exaust, just 4 bolts hold it on and its a piece of cake.
LT1 /4 a lot of work if you own a convertable,cake if a coupe .
Learn to work on it now ,later you will kick yourself for spending alot of money on stuff that you could fix.
You will find most mechanics break up your car more then they fix it.
I would suggest you get a set of the beam plates from zfdoc and either install them yourself, or get someone to install them for you. The exhaust will need to be removed to do the job correctly.
When are you located, if you are close to upstate South Carolina you are welcome to bring the car over and use my lift and tools.
