Whew! Ignition problem solved quickly and easily!
I've been doing a much needed clean up and detailing on my car this afternoon in preparation for our club showing at the Autofair down at Charlotte Speedway next weekend. Anyhow, I was moving the car around a lot to access different areas and all of the sudden when I went to start it, it would die as soon as the key was released from the crank position. Hmmmm, just like an ignition resistor failure on the older, simpler cars. So I checked all fuses that I thought may have been applicable, no problems there. Removed the dual connectors from the coil and found a little corrosion. Ah ha! Cleaned it up and reconnected, problem solved! Some days are better than others. Just wanted to pass it on in case anyone encounters this symptom.

I had a simular situation where the contacts ha lost the tension and I had to replace the connectors... was not fun driving along and the car would just stop... (Especially in LA rush hour traffic.. that's an oxymoron)
I bought new plug and fixed it after happening twiggle te leads when the engine was running and it died...

So where'd you get the connector? I'll always be paranoid now. It would be worth it for the peace of mind.
