running rich
hey, iv posted befor about selling this car for 15k. i realized that was way to much so iv decided to keep it for now. the problem im having now is that the car is running real rich. after it warms up im guessing around 160 then im getting the puffs of grey smoke that smell like unburned fuel. so my aproach this time is to ask yall all modifications aside what would make a stock l98 run rich. thanks

true answer. but im on my second one trying to combat this rich condition. actually the o2 detects the rich condition and is telling the ecm to cut back on the fuel which leads to a little bit of stumbling when i press the pedal. iv unplugged the o2 and the car runs excelent except for the richness plus unsightly smoke during idle and foot in the pedal. im trying to figure out pryor to the 02. iv eliminated the air pump and all related hoses and pullys. thanks
