I had that same work done on my 1990 Corvette headlights last summer. The passenger side would not open completely, and I had to remove the headlight assembly and return it to the shop. The shop owner told me his mechanic had misaligned the silver-colored connection linkage. The shop owner re-aligned the connector and the headlight has worked fine since then. -- Eric
when you took off light assembly, if it was in closed position, you need to make sure it is in closed position before re-installing. To do this, U just need to turn the black **** on motor which is used to manually Opn/Close the light assembly. You can do this without removing the light assembly from car, just turn on ignition, and turn your lights to off position(closed). Then go under your hood and manually close the light which is incorrectly in the 'open' position and close it turning the little black circular **** on light motor.....this should fix your problem.
From: No more yankee my wankee, the Donger is tired!
I've tried just rotating the ****. It will stay in it's proper position (closed), when I turn it on, it won't go any where... then you turn it off it pops back up.
I'm about ready to punt the damn thing to china.
I've torn the linkage apart, redone it at least 30 times, with no success. Same results every time.
