My ignition timing label is missing, what is the timing supposed to be set at? and where do you disconnect the est, and what is the timing connector?

The timing spec for all C4's, that CAN be set (L83s and L98s) is 6 * BTDC.

I have an 88 with pre cats eliminated and spark plugs gaped at ..045
I run 8 deg before tdc and love it
