Default Alarm 1984

I purchased a 1984 Corvette and the Alarm is not working properly. When I get out and shut the doors the interior lights start flashing. It doesn't matter which way I turn the key in the door locks it just keeps flashing until it drains the battery. I read the forum and some had suggested disconnecting the green and black wire that goes to the door lock switch. Some suggested pulling the fuse that goes to the alarm system. I'm not sure where this fuse is located in a 1984 Corvette. I would really like to disable this alarm system all together and would like to know the best way to do so. Also does this stock alarm interfere with the electric door locks when activated?
Thanks

wow, dude...

first off, the fuse panel is on the passengers side of the dash, against the door - open the door, it's there by the jam.

next... electrical... this has all the potential for being a real hornets nest. Before you fiddle, you need a factory service manual. I have one, in PDF that I can burn to a CD. If you want a copy, IM me with your mailing address and I will get it out ASAP.

More then likely the problem is in the door switch. But it's not a guarentee.
