Had the GS on the dyno today. 299 RWHP/316 ft lbs torque. With the mods in my sig, does this seem right. I would think I could do better than this. Discuss please.
The 4.10's will drop the #'s a little, but this should be more than made up for with the longtubes with no cats. Did you get it tuned for the LT's w/o cats? If you are running 315's out back and/or have heavier rims, the #'s can be lower as well. I'd think youd be in the 320-330 range...
I have 315s out back, but Fikse wheels which are (or should be) lighter than stock. Baer 2 piece rotors which (I was under the impression are lighter than stock). Im not sure if they tuned it for no cats, will have to check, but Im sure I must be putting down more than this. I have seen a number of stock LT4s putting these numbers down.
At 299 rwhp, internally the motor was all stock...........
The bottom end is still stock, but now many mods.....last dyno was solid 365rwhp.....since I have added long tube headers, high flow cats, aluminum damper with underdrive pulley.........dyno tuning coming May14...new hp=???
Just to give you more info about my dyno for your comparision.
Mine was done on a dynojet, I have 315, on A-molds (not sure who made them), I have non-stock rotors (their cross-drilled and slotted, again not sure who made them), and my peak hp was at 5700 - 5900rpm (it varied by only .4hp over that range). At 5600rpm I was just .9hp lower than 5700 I still have the stock 3.45.
Perfusion made 324hp/325tq with his stock LT4 with K&N, EM long-tubes, cats, and Corsas --- running very lean. I made 297hp/311tq with just Corsas and an X-pipe. With your headers, and no cats, you should be 20-25hp over stock.

Just FYI gents..the rear gears will not effect his peak HP. It may effect the RPM range at which he achieves peak numbers but as long as he maintains a 1:1 ratio (all relevant to the trans gearing which should be in 4th gear), it shouldn't be a factor
