Optispark Question...
I have a '95 LT1 and I know that I have the vented type. My question is did they also make the non-vented type for '95-'96 ?
Thanks !!........

......and that is one reason that many folks think that the 95'-'96 is the best year to own from an Optispark point of view. The non-vented Opti is much more prone to moisture ingress...I think GM went the Optispark route starting in '92....??

That is the DelTeq system. It uses a northstar coil pack to replace the high voltage. It still uses the opti for the optical sensor.
On the other hand, there is LTCC,
www.bailey-eng.com . It's what I have. It uses 8 LS1 coils.
Works real good. I have had it for a year and a half. Just fine.

you have it backwards, 92-94 is vented. 95-97 is non-vented. if you really want a vented cap ie no vacum line atatched buy a 92 cap and rotor at autozone. only down side is they are $229 just for the cap and rotor.
