Default Does anyone know offhand...

When I change out the radiator on my 93 A4, how much trans fluid should I expect to have to add back in? Just need to know how many quarts to buy.

TIA!

The cooler in the radiator can't hold more than a few ounces: maybe 6 to 12? You are likely to have more fluid dribble out of the open lines than the cooler holds.

RACE ON!!!

When I changed the radiator out on my 95 auto, I put tape over the transmissions as I disconnected them from the radiator, lost very very little fuild. I would not buy over a quart. Good Luck.
