Ok, put the new clutch on when I did my $expensive trans rebuild and now the sucker wont work. I saw a post a few months ago showing pictures of how to & not to install the throwout bearing on the forks but I can't seem to find it now. If anyone can find those pics or tell me what it should look like. I'm assuming that is the problem since everything else is new.
So you installed a new clutch and reused your T/O bearing?
When you install the bellhousing put the T/O bearing lips at 12 and 6 o'clock. You can install the bellhousing at an angle to get the fork over the bearing and then turn the bellhousing to install it correctly. That is how I did it.
But before going through all of that, check to see if you have air in your hydraulic line. That is the biggest reason for a clutch not working.
I remember putting the T/O bearing on the forks before installing the bell housing. I just plunked it on there so maybe I stuck it on wrong, well I hope its that easy anyway.
I do know that all the hydrolics are new and were working before taking the trans out. I never opened the system so I hope it doesn't need to be blead.
