Rear Hub Assembly?? anybody got an exploded view??
I would like to see an exploded view of the rear hub assemble 87-89. the concern is the inner washer between splined axle and bearing. Should there be one or not?

My 88 service manual says yes.
It shows the castle nut (or cap) with codder pin, a regular nut, then a washer, then the bearing. The description in the book says, #29. Washer spdl.

Hope that helps.
ok,, from the outside to inside on splinded shaft, cotter pin, cap, 36mm nut, washer, hub/bearing,[ "SPACER" ], [<--this spacer has wear, it is located between inner bearing and splinded shaft face]
is item #29 the "spacer"?

No, #29 is the washer, then there is the bearing.
After the hub assembly/bearing, there is that spacer you are refering to called the plate assembly, then ther is a half moon washer.
The service manual says this:
"Flat portion of washer should be firmly seated against shoulder of bearing dia. (yoke spindle asm) and lip of washer (outbaord) facing splices (yoke spindle asm) prior to assembly of drive shaft and spindle asm into bearing and hub asm."
You're not talking about the Plate Assembly are you? You're talking about the half moon washer?

revised:from the outside to inside on splinded shaft, cotter pin, cap, 36mm nut, washer, hub/bearing,[ "SPACER" ], [<-- thin center coned washer <--]has wear, it is located between inner bearing face (cone toward bearing)and [splinded shaft face]. i may need to replace it..IF it actually is suppose to be there.

Ahh, hmmm. I have yet to tear mine down, if you can wait till tomorrow I can get a picture up with my digital camera of the service manual.
It is showing this:
Cotter pin, Castle nut, nut, washer, hub/bearing, caliper mounting plate assembly, half-moon washer, wheel bearing seal, then the drive shaft.
