I am using stock rubber mounts with a torque arm I made. Its a tube with heim joints on each end. One end attaches to the cylinder head, and the other end attaches to a bracket thats welded to the frame.

I use a homemade anti-torque tube as well, but was looking for something alittle better and stronger.

Nobody makes 'em dude... I've thought about doing some out of 3/16" mild steel and still may if there's interest. But as of right now I'm building a motor plate for the new engine.

Jeb, me and a buddy would be a player. I took a pair of stock mounts to a fabricator who has worked on my car (1991 Vette) in the past. He is going to see , if he can mod the old mount or fab one from it. I was thinking that I would only require a solid mount on the drivers side.
He suggested I use a front motor plate.
What year Vette do you have?
Thanks...Phil

1990... I can probably throw some solids together pretty quickly. But a plate is the way to go, particularly if a great deal of your accessory drive no longer exists.

I have a custom set that i made, they work real nice, but the car will vibrate things loose that were never loose before. I really like them, used a set of mid-year mounts and machined a tube in to fit the frame mount. I assume it vibrates now because everything in the car is solid mount now all the way front to rear.
