You might be better of putting it IN your engine rather on on it?
Where would you put it IN his engine? At 6 3/4" it won't fit down a cylinder. He COULD pull the pan and lay it IN next to the oil pump pick up. But it might slide back and take out the pick up on a hard launch. I'd use the proper installation tool and install it ON the crankshaft.

Has anyone used one of these? They look too cheap to be true but the one for $114 is SFI approved so it must be balanced well. I wonder if the $33.95 one is any good? I have wanted to get one to replace the stock harmonic balancer on my car since I rev my engine to 6500 rpm.
