Default P0301 Code? What Do I Do? What Could It Be?

2 WEEKS AGO I WASHED UNDER THE HOOD WITH HIGH PRESSURE WATER. I HAVE TRIED EVERTYTHING FROM A SMALL PUMP ON THE VENT LINES OF THE OPTISPARK, AND LETTING HER SIT WITH THE HOOD OPEN IN THE SUN FOR THREE DAYS. I USED TO GET A P0300 P0301 P0302 AND P0303. NOW FOR THE LAST WEEK IT HAS BEEN P0301, I KNOW IT TIS THE NUMBER 1 CYLINDER....WE TOOK OFF THE PLUG WIRE TO THE NUMBER 1 CYLINDER AND FOUND A "WEAK" SPARK....COULD IT BE CO-INCIDENTAL THAT THE PLUG IS "FAULTY" OR IS IT STILL THE FREAKING OPTISPARK? I AM ABOUT READY TO DONATE MY CAR THE LIKINGS OF A LOUIVILLE SLUGGER! I AM PRETTY MUCH AT A STAND STILL I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO?

You ought to just write it off and put a new optispark on it. Maybe it was on its last leg and the cross firing you let it do did it in.

Opti's can be had now for less than 200 american
new.
