elect H2O pump install question
I am putting an elect water pump into my 1990 L-98. I have a question about 2 hoses. Their is one that goes from the base of the intake to the bottom of the pressure tank. A second line comes out of the mech H2O pump at the 9 pm position and goes to the same place on the bottom of the pressure tank. Can I take the ends of the hoses off the intake base and H2O pump tie them together and be done with them?
I am assuming they are for the heater?

No You cant!
Here are the diagram of water route on my 1990 L98 (with oil cooler).
Dont You have a heater in Your car? You said that hose go directly to reservoir from intake manifold.
I am myself modifying now a WP321 (Meziere with pulley) to fit to my car.
