Muffler Alignment Problems

I've installed a set of Magnaflow mufflers on my '92, that was the easy part...now I'm trying to get them aligned evenly, this is turning out to be VERY frustrating. The right side is perfect, but the left side looks horrible no matter how many times I loosen...adjust...tighten...look at it, then cuss, then do it all over again. This has been going on for 4 hours now, I'm starting to think I should just live with it, but I know it's going to drive me crazy. Does anybody have any advice or tips to help me out?

Mine the left is good the right is off a little. But I figure I'll live with it until I can get them welded..
