Default Another ET best!!!

What a beautiful day for racing - 2nd time out for the season.

My first last week ended in a rocker stud being busted off and a bent pushrod. After fixing it I had another chance today.
................................Previous best w/ Superram
60ft..........1.564 ...........1.516 ......+.048
330ft.........4.574 ............4.555 .....+.019
1/8m.........7.126 ............7.122 .....+.004
1/8 mph.....97.91 ...........97.29 .....+.62
1000ft.......9.338 ...........9.352 .....-.014
1/4m.........11.207 ..........11.227 .....-.02
1/4mph.....123.10 ...........121.96 .....+1.14

Oh, I did change my intake to a jeb built-single plane intake & plennum and electric water pump. Shifting at 6000+ vs 5200 with Superram
I did spin on the line - so I think there is more to be had on the 60'.

Daym! Nice 60' time. When you think a busted rear is in order?

I don't want to think about that. The IRS is the reason I went with the single plane - a little less tork and more power on the top. It actually leaves mild now compared to 1.51 60 ft last year.

seems like there's a few quick 85's around here

Great runs.

If my D-36 is still alive his D-44 will be fine.

So the 60' went from 1.51 to 1.56 with the intake change, how did the other increments change if you don't mind ?

hey 85....

i am looking into getting some drag rims and tires for my 91.. what type of rims are you running and what sizes?

can you tell me what spacing you had to use for front and rear..

i think if get that type of traction ill have to go with some shorter gears..

Jim, that car is running very strong. Given the DA you are running about the same times as my 406. You're running little more CR and a better exhaust system, but those are great numbers for that combo. Gotta be happy with the results of the intake swap. Eased up on your rear without hurting your ET

Ralph,
Not really sure about the 60'. I spun a good bit. I think if I hook good I could cut a 1.54 or 1.55. I am extactic at how good it feels up top. I never thought I would be shifting an L98 at 6100.
My SR will be going upfor sale when I have a chance to clean it up.

Reading these post.. Makes me want to change my cam.. But then I think of the roll bar. Thanks for you IM back on the head gaskets. I found " Clearing throat" Head bolts on the driver side where half turn loose from 70LBS.. New gaskets are going in anyways.. What tires are you running and PSI?

Glad I could help.
I have Hoosiers 26.0/10.0-15 @ 15 pounds.

Come on, what is wrong with a Neverlift custom rollbar. It compliments the car!!!!
