Default Jeg's Torque convertors

Has anyone used one of Jeg's brand torque convertors with a 700r4? They have what they are calling a 9+ inch convertor at 3200 stall I am considering

Buy an Vigilante. I know they are expensive but they are proven. Best $700 I spent.

my guess is that it's just a rebadged economy (read: cheap) unit from somebody else. My guess is that it would work, but probably be less efficient (more heat) than a more precision unit from the name brand guys. If you're on a small budget then maybe - but I've yet to see anything out of Jegs that is signifigantly cheaper than some of the other name-brand counterparts.

I think it's kind of like buying car parts from walmart - but let it be known that I've never bought a "Jeg's" brand product before.

I bought a "Summit" converter...when I opened the box there was a nice shiney converter with a TCI sticker on it. Called Summit and they said TCI is the "Summit Brand"...cost less than the TCI too.

I would think they'd tell you who makes them for them if you ask. If not and you really want to know, get in touch and I can probably find out.

Hey ! Make sure the converter will handle the amount of torque your engine is putting out ! If not , you will be replacing it ! Just give the manufacturer a call and they will tell you what you need . And it will save you alot of aggravation down the road !!!!
