Default Yet another brake question

Well, I was having some troubles with braking, so I bled the brakes.

They feel quite a bit better, but still not back to "stock" or anywhere near it.

One person described it perfectly in my old thread, but I didnt realize it until now- the brake pedal feels hard as a rock. Like it doesnt want to go very far, and I still get a little slip when I put it all the way until it stops.

Any hints?

-Mark

You probably need a new booster. Or you have a vacuum leak on the line going to the booster.

If you have a firm, hard pedal, but poor stopping power, it's either a booster, or vacuum leak. Check the hose that goes from the booster to the intake. Also, check the other intake vacuum hoses. If they all check out OK, it's probably the booster.
