Default Header Question???

I know someone who has a 96' LT1 six-speed vette that has a built 383 in it with the LT4 heads and intake with a Vortech supercharger on it also. He has some headers for sale, and I can't remember if they are SLP headers or Hooker headers. Anyway a friend of mine owns a 88' vette that has the stock L98/700r4 in it, and he wants to buy the headers if they will work/fit. The guy selling them says they'll work but hate to buy them and the not work....Thanks In Advance for the input.

They will fit, but don't let your buddy waste his money of those LT4 headers are "shorties".

So they will fit? The bolt pattern on the heads are the same and I'm guessing it doesn't make a difference if it is an auto or manual?

Thanks, Dave
