Default Scan Software for Macintosh?????

Hey guys, been checking out posts here on Scan/Tune and would love to get in a little time but don't have a PC only a Mac laptop, anybody know of any software for these computers????

Not likely. You'll probably want to look into getting Virtual PC for your Mac which will allow you to load a copy of WinXP and run any of the popular tools. VPC will allow you to share your Mac's USB port, so I'd recommend using a tool which allows you to interface with the ECM/PCM/OBD etc over USB (instead of using a USB to serial adapter).

Thanks Ron, I think I actually have a copy of Virtual PC somewhere. Forgive me, but I know zilch about any of this, but want to learn and play.

For now I just want to see where my L98 is according to the computer. I'm not ready for burning. What tool do you suggest to interface for the basics.

I'm using an aftermarket ECU on my setup, so the software for FAST is completely different than what one might use on a regular L98 ECU. The other guys on the forum would be able to give you a little more insight. EASE or Datamaster seem to be popular choices.
