Not really sure what you are asking.
If you want to remove the AIR/EGR system then you will need to buy some block off plates to get rid of this system. You can run AIR/EGR without cats if you wanted to. Not really sure why though?
Remember, if you remove the AIR/EGR system you have to get custom tuning to keep the computer from throwing a code.

I have no idea what the kit does. I haven't ever seen one of those.
But Removing the AIR/EGR, just frees up room. Allows for things like Longtubes w/o the AIR provisions for a much cleaner engine compartment. Make spark plug changes easy. Free's up space where the old AIR pump used to be, one less system to break, etc.
Of course the downside is, you won't pass emissions but thats a non issue for me.
When would it be neccessary to use these block off plates? With cats removed or anytime?
1) I have the Hot Cam in my LT1. The LT4 does not need the external EGR plumbing into the intake because the function is accomplished through more cam overlap. I chose to go with headers that have the EGR fitting. I'm about to remove it.
2) I asked a tuner about this and the answer is "With your Hot Cam removing the EGR won't affect emissions. Keeping the EGR will make it runs worse in hot weather". Said tuner programmed it out in the computer for me (no codes) so now I just need to do the tubing and blockoff changes.
Does anyone know the size and threads of the EGR pipe so I can go to a hardware store to get blockoff caps?
